This is an easy workbook to keep concepts fresh thru the summer. We are going into our second year of homeschool and I'm using this to supplement throughout summer - so we keep newly learned concepts fresh for the next school year. My child is 6 and heading to 1st grade ergo we are new readers. This has helped to reinforce concepts, it's easy and no fuss. Most pages she can do herself and enjoys the pictures. It's all pretty simple but I like that it's not overwhelming so it keeps everyone eager to open it up each day. It's supplemental, NOT a curriculum or to teach NEW concepts, just a fun way for the kiddos to practice their forming skills. It's summer, we don't want to be hammering out workbooks each day!
